One of the biggest challenges of formulating a concise treatment plan is anticipating the unknowns. What looks to be a relatively simple cleaning of a heavy dirt layer turns out to reveal yet another issue. Hidden beneath the dirt is a widespread and deeply embedded staining; imperceptible until the cleaning began. This presents a whole new set of decisions and steps that were not accounted for in the initial examination, but which must certainly be resolved to completion.
